C3EL is proud to announce its role as the systems integrator behind the newly opened Downtown Memphis Command Center—a cutting-edge facility designed to transform public safety operations with real-time intelligence and rapid response coordination. This Command Center, developed in partnership with the Memphis Police Department, Downtown Memphis Commission, and supporting agencies, was recently unveiled and hailed by city leadership as a major advancement in keeping Memphis safe and responsive. “With the launch of the command center, the City of Memphis, the Police Department, and the Downtown Memphis Commission are answering the question […how to keep downtown safe…] with action,” said Chandell Ryan, President and CEO of the Downtown Memphis Commission. As the technical solutions provider, C3EL delivered the AV and IT backbone of the facility—designing the system infrastructure, configuring operator workstations, and deploying a low-latency, high-fidelity video distribution network over Ethernet. The centerpiece? A 10×2 Planar LCD video wall powered by Extron’s NAV Pro AV-over-IP—designed by our very own C3EL Technical team . This adjoined-corner configuration streams live surveillance feeds from 63 strategically positioned downtown cameras, delivering 24/7 visibility into key intersections for the City of Memphis to monitor high-priority areas. While part of a broader 220+ citywide camera network, these feeds are critical to supporting safety and rapid response in the urban core. “This project exemplifies what’s possible when operational design and mission-critical technology are aligned,” said Olvera. “The control systems and workspace were built to empower rapid response and situational awareness.” Delivering the project on an accelerated schedule, C3EL integrated specialized AV and IT systems to meet the fast-paced demands of a modern public safety operation. The result: a scalable, resilient, and operator-friendly command center built for the mission at hand. Since 2012, C3EL has provided secure command center integration, audiovisual engineering, and IT solutions for defense, intelligence, and public sector clients. Headquartered in Tampa, FL, the company is ISO 9001:2015 certified, operates a DCAA-approved accounting system, and partners with top-tier OEMs across AV, IT, and cyber domains. “Over the last 30 years, America has convinced itself that the best path for the most people is an expensive, four-year degree. Pop culture has glorified the “corner office job” while unintentionally belittled the jobs that helped build the corner office.
Our project management approach is the combination of mature processes, methods, skills, knowledge and experiences coupled with the drive and discipline to effectively deploy this myriad of elements in concert to achieve project objectives, overcome constraints and obstacles to produce quality work under constrained time frames and budgets.
What is 3D Rendering? 3D Rendering in its simplest explanation is that it is the creation of images using a computer software. 3D rendering is visual creative work, but unlike its relations photography and cinematography, everything in the image is imaginary and must be created. It involves the adapting of the likeness of an object into an image.
As a company that specializes in designing, integrating, and delivering turnkey command center solutions, we have extensive experience installing command centers. The command center must be reliable and provide secure multilevel access. This requires advances not only in computing hardware and software but in the interconnecting fabric of communications. Proper installation of various technologies into a command center is critical, and once the installation is complete, the center must provide real-time and reliable data.
